"Dance Moms" alum Maddie Ziegler just completed her stint on Sia's "Nostalgic for the Present Tour," and there are rumors that she would be going on a short break from dancing.
At present, Ziegler's fans are awaiting the release of her upcoming movie, "Ballerina," which is due on Christmas day. The animated series will feature only the voice of the young professional dancer. Fans of Ziegler who want to see her act in a movie will be delighted to know that she has two other projects up for release.
According to Variety, Ziegler will be starring in "The Book of Henry," where she will play the role of Christina Sickleman. Filming for the movie has wrapped up a few months ago, and it is due for release in theaters in the United States sometime next year.
Ziegler and Sia will once again work together in the coming months for "The Greatest" singer's movie, "Sister." The screenplay was written by Sia herself, and she has tapped the dance prodigy to take on the lead role. Unfortunately, details from "Sister" are still being kept under wraps.
Meanwhile, now that Sia's tour is over, Ziegler is back in Los Angeles with her friends and family. She and her younger sister Mackenzie were in Australia last month for a series of workshops. In the coming holidays, the siblings will also be celebrating with their loved ones and will most likely share a photo on their respective social media accounts.
In other news, since leaving "Dance Moms," Ziegler has gone on to appear in "So You Think You Can Dance: Next Generation," where she acted as a special judge. She also made several appearances on various talk shows such as Harry Connick Jr's talk show, "Harry."
