That is why, it is highly advised that patients suffering from any illness and is under medication should suffer involuntary weight and appetite suppression, doctors should be contacted immediately.

These specialists will decide on whether the medication should be maintained or the patient should stop the use of the drug for a while or permanently. Apart from that, the physician could also check for other potential underlying causes of weight loss apart from medication.
