In the early part of 2016 until the third quarter, “Descendants of the Sun” actor Song Joong-ki held the Chinese leg of his Asian fan meet. As the year ends, it’s the turn of “Love in the Moonlight” actor Park Bo Gum to hold his 10-country Asian fan meets, beginning with Malaysia on Saturday, Dec. 10 and would end with China.

On Thursday night, Dec. 8, he arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport for the first stop of his Asian tour. The event would be held at the Plenary Hall of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center at 7:30 p.m. At a press conference on Friday held at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, Park Bo Gum said he was surprised and amazed to see the preparations in welcoming him to Malaysia, New Straits Times reported.

Upon his arrival at 10 p.m., there were about 500 fans who greeted him at the airport with placards and gifts. Since his arrival, the 23-year-old actor who played Crown Prince Hyomyeong in the historical drama “Love in the Moonlight,” said he has visited Dataran Merdeka, Petronas Twin Towers and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

Park Bo Gum said that if he still has time, he would also want to tour Malacca and eat at Jalan Alor to try Malaysian food, including satay. The actor admitted he is a big eater.

Meanwhile, Mobilenapps reported that Park Bo Gum is being linked to Korean singer Irene of Red Velvet. The two used to co-host the program “Music Bank” from May 2015 through June 2016. The actor said hosting “Music Bank” is an experience he would never forget.

Irene, in a recent taping for “Radio Star,” admitted that the handsome actor maker her heart beat faster. “He made my heart actually race when he called me by my real name, Bae Joo Hyun, that wasn't in the script and he made my heart flutter,” Irene said.
