DeMarcus Cousins

NBA rumors once again involved the name of DeMarcus Cousins in the equation, as Boston Celtics may soon acquire his service according to reports.

Over the past months, the name of the Sacramento Kings center-player DeMarcus Cousins have been involved in a potential blockbuster trade deal with other teams. Perhaps one of the most persistent team mentioned in the rumor mill that has been constantly eyeing Cousins would be the Boston Celtics.

Although there have been alleged communication for Celtic's acquisition of Cousins in the past months, nothing seemed to have flourished for the interested team has nothing to offer a big enough package to tempt Divac, according to ESPN. However, New England Sports Network recently reported that the NBA rumors regarding the potential trade scenario between the Celtics and Kings for DeMarcus Cousins will likely happen sooner.

NESN detailed that WBZ's Adam Kaufman mentioned via social media account regarding the trade deal between Kings and Celtics might be coming sooner than later. The report also stated that since the source of the information is not coming from Celtic nor Kings, a potential third team involvement will help materialize the NBA trade rumor proliferating all year long.

Now the said NBA rumors concerning the potential transfer of DeMarcus Cousins to Celtics is not an isolated rumor. As a player averaging 28.7 points, 10.4 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and 3.2 assists per game, interest from other teams will likely abound.

It can be noted that in the past NBA trade rumors, Cousins' name was also associated with the Washington Wizards and their elite point-guard John Wall. Furthermore, his name was also mentioned in another NBA rumor concerning the Cleveland Cavaliers and their potential let go of Kevin Love.

To get back to the point, the greatness of DeMarcus Cousins inside and outside the shaded area somehow earned him the title of one of the best center players to date. With such a title, it cannot be denied that these NBA rumors will continue to persist otherwise proven insufficient. Guess we would just have to wait for the move of the Celtics and the reply of the Kings.
