'Hannibal' Season 3 Official Trailer: Airing Date, New Characters, New Town Revealed

The fans of NBC's "Hannibal" got upset when the Season 3 has been pushed a few months more, due in the summer of 2015, the Screen Crush reported.

NBC has announced that "Hannibal" Season 3 official premiere date is in June, enticing fans with a promotional image of the culinary cannibal on a hog.

The new season is set to air on June 4, Thursday despite the fact that Bryan Fuller usually gets a Friday airing. Together with the announcement was a new image of Dr. Lecter on a motorcycle in his brand new life on the lam- a far from his typical dapper look.

"True Blood" veteran Rutina Wesley, "The Hobbit" Richard Armitage, and Nina Arianda will portray the "Red Dragon" characters Reba McClane, Francis Dolarhyde, and Molly respectively. Raul Esparza, on the other hand, will return to his role as Dr. Frederick Chilton, while Eddie Izzard is possible to come back as Dr. Abel Gideon.

Most recently adding "True Detective" Glenn Fleshler in the character of Cordell (Mason Verger's personal physician) and "Star Trek" actor Zachary Quinto, details have also been revealed about Gillian Anderson's "regular" status in the series following Season 2's finale entitled "Mizumono." Quinto will be a patient of Anderson, the International Business Times reported.

Fans have already gained the knowledge that Dr. Lecter, who is portrayed by Mads Mikkelsen, and Bedelia Du Maurier are to start a life in Italy- a year Season 2's finale which forced Hannibal to move away.

"Hannibal" Season 3 will air on June 4.
