President-Elect Donald Trump Holds Meetings At Trump Tower

Americans can heave a sigh of relief because Kanye West said on Tuesday that he is postponing his plans to run for president of the United States in 2020. However, it may mean another four years of Republican domination if Donald Trump, the incoming 45th president of the U.S., would seek reelection and win.

West, who announced in September 2015 plans to run for the top post in 2020, postponed it after meeting with Trump. However, despite his recent mental breakdown, the husband of reality star Kim Kardashian tweeted he would instead run for the presidency in 2024, Pagesix reported.

He wrote in a series of tweets, West’s first since Oct. 21, meeting with Trump was important for him to have a direct line of communication with the president-elect if America really wants change. West tweeted he would work for a change in the issues involving bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing the curriculum and violence in Chicago which he considers his adopted hometown. He also discussed multicultural issues with Trump.

The two met at Trump’s Trump Tower in Manhattan for 15 minutes where they spoke about life and had some photos taken. Trump said he and West have been friends for a long time.

The idea of West running and winning may have been farfetched before Trump’s unexpected win in November. Even West’s mental breakdown may no longer have any bearing on voters anymore. Besides meeting Trump, West went to New York City on Monday to interview psychiatrists who would treat him when he is on the East Coast and join his West Coast team provide 24-hour treatment after his 8-day confinement in a psychiatry ward, TMA reported.

Since stress is a trigger for West, he is now focusing on ventures which would not cause tension on the designer, rapper and father of two kids with Kim Kardashian.
