Another Filipina showed her superb singing talent in South Korea's talent show - KPOP Star 6. Filipinos have garnered a reputation as good singers and many have found fame even in international scene.
Kriesha Tiu, whose Korean stage name Chrisha Choo, is currently a trainee under Urban Works ENT, a Korean talent agency.
She auditioned for "K-Pop Star 6: The Last Chance" and sang "I Don't Love You" by Urban Zakapa. For her second performance, she danced to Justin Bieber's hit "Boyfriend." Because of her amazing performance, the three judges, namely YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun-suk, JYP Entertainment's Park Jin-young and Antenna Music's You Hee-yeol want to cast her to their respective agencies.
Tiu was born in Cebu, Choo, 17, but her family moved to San Francisco, California where she was scouted by the agency. With this amazing opportunity, Tiu, along with her mother and brother, moved to South Korea to pursue her dream.
"K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance," the show's final season, recently welcomed trainees signed under different agencies. The competition's winner will be marketed by the three agencies the judges represent.
