Manny Pacquiao (L) and Floyd Mayweather Jr. (R)

The media event to promote the upcoming mega fight between boxing superstars Floyd Mayweather Jr.and Manny Pacquiao would be different from what it has been in the past media events.

According to Bleacher Report, the first organized appearance of the two boxers in one event will be a sight that will make the world stop. This would be the event that everyone will be seeing an uncropped and unphotoshopped picture of the two future hall of fame awardees.

The momentous occasion will take place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on March 11 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, per Fight Hype. The report also says that it won't be open to the public.

The event is described as a "red carpet" event and everyone that's invited should expect a grand entrance and introduction for both fighters. It is also expected that Mayweather, since he is accustomed to this type of event will be more confident while the Filipino boxer might be reserved, since he is used to the old school media event and this will be his first extravagant press event since joining the sport years ago.

The promoters of the fight are also confident that the invitation only media event won't affect the outcome of the fight since this is what the general boxing public has been clamoring for the past 5 years. They also added that either the event will be close door or not, still they expect huge buys on pay per views that will shatter all records either from the world of boxing or not.

There were predictions as well that this might be Pacquiao's last fight, win or lose, while Mayweather has expressed that this will be his second to his last fight.  But again, the outcome of the fight will definitely determine their future plans.

Also, as stated on the stipulation, Pacquiao is not entitled for a rematch in the event that he will bow to the undefeated boxer while Mayweather has.

For the past five years, the boxing superstars have been playing mudslinging at each other, but now that the fight is a reality, nasty trash talking during the event is not expected but, still knowing Mayweather, it is always expected.
