Lena Headey attends the premiere of HBO's 'Game Of Thrones' Season 6 at TCL Chinese Theatre on April 10, 2016 in Hollywood, California.

The salary of "Game of Thrones" actress Lena Headey was revealed amidst a legal battle between her and former husband Peter Loughran. Headey reportedly makes several million dollars when she plays Cersei Lannister in HBO's fantasy series.

Loughran is asking Headey to pay $40,000 of his attorney's fees as he cannot afford to do so. He stated she earns about more than a million per episode of "Game of Thrones," according to new court documents filed last week and obtained by E! News.

The former husband and wife are fighting over the custody of their only child, Wylie Elliot Loughran, 6, the actress' eldest of two children. The boy is currently spending half the time with each of his dad and mom.

The 43-year-old actress has said to have paid her ex husband $20,000 in attorney's fees to comply a previous court order. In his filing, Loughran stated his ex wife, who is earning more than a million dollars and with a savings exceeding $1 million is capable to pay spousal support. He lives in an apartment that costs $3,300 rental and is receiving $9,000 in child support.

Headey's ex who is also known as a musician is said to be a former hairstylist who is now unemployed and is looking for a job. Headey reportedly urged him to quit his job when they were still married so he could take care of their son.

Headey was among the main stars of HBO's multi Emmy-awarded series to band together to negotiate a $1.1 million pay per episode for the show's last two seasons, Season 7 and 8 to be aired in 2017 and 2018, respectively. The other stars who worked with the pay negotiation were Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Kit Harington, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The fantasy drama is said to have 13 episodes left, seven and six for seasons 7 and 8.

Headey appeared in eight episodes in "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Being one of the Tier A or highest-paid stars of the show does not guarantee though that her character will survive until the last episode.

Here is one of Headey's interviews where she talks about her "Game of Thrones" character.
