The health of Michael Schumacher is not a public issue per Sabine Kehm. The Schumachers are giving back to the fans through the "Keep Fighting Initiative", something meant to encourage and inspire.

The health condition of Michael Schumacher will continue to be kept private as reiterated by designated spokesperson Sabine Kehm. Instead, the Schumachers will launch the “Keep Fighting Initiative” as a form of gratitude and encouragement to the followers of the fallen F1 legend.

Sabin Kehm made it clear that the state of Michael Schumacher will remain closely guarded by family and select associates. She adds that “Schumi’s” condition is not a public issue as they plan to protect the intimate sphere of the 47-year-old driver’s health, the Telegraph reported.

The latest update on the state of Michael Schumacher hardly scratches the surface of any breakthrough for the racing legend. This month marks the third year since that unfortunate skiing accident in France.

Schumacher sustained severe head injuries back in Dec. 29, 2013 and has since been holed up in his Lake Geneva mansion under the protective care of select medical personnel and family.

Various friends have come out to provide meager updates on Michael Schumacher, most asking fans to keep on praying for the racing legend’s recovery. Former Ferrari technical head Ross Brawn was one of the key personalities who made the call, adding that most reports coming out were false, BBC reported.

With Michael Schumacher continuing to fight for his life, Kehm instead announced that the Schumachers were launching the “Keep Fighting Initiative”. This is the family’s way of thanking Michael’s fans and encouraging them to “keep fighting and never give up”.

Aside from that, Kehm also reiterated something that Michael Schumacher would have wanted as well – privacy. She reminds most that “Schumi” set a fine line where his private life was off limits, justifying her current calls to keep any credible update confined within Schumacher’s family circle.

As mentioned in a previous post, many were under the impression that the medical bills have started to eat into the savings of the racing legend. Some assets such as a private jet and resort were reportedly sold though Corrina explained most were done out of being realistic.

In addition, Michael Schumacher would no longer be able to enjoy these properties even if he made a miraculous recovery. Her statement makes a lot of sense considering what is important right now is addressing the medical needs of the F1 great.
