'Power Rangers' movie 2017 spoilers: Jason David Frank denies film cameo rumors; Goldar's appearance revealed [VIDEO]

Power Rangers reboot is a joint production of both Saban and Lionsgate, which will be directed by Dean Israelite.

The latest details and spoilers for the 2017 "Power Rangers" movie will feature Goldar's appearance and Jason David Frank clears out rumors of his involvement in the film.

Several rumors are making rounds regarding "Power Rangers" TV series alumni Jason David Frank's involvement in the "Power Rangers" movie as a report from ComicBook.com claimed that fellow cast member Blake Foster hinted that Frank will appear in the film in an unspecified role.

However, Frank took noticed on the report and eventually took to social media stating that the report from ComicBook is not true and it is just another internet rumor, Digital Spy reported.

There have numerous reports from various internet newsite stating that JDF could be involve in the "Power Rangers" movie and even claimed that his role could be a former ranger who will help train the new generation of rangers in the film. But since Frank himself denied claims of being part of the movie, it is safe to assume that no one from the original cast of the "Power Rangers" TV series will be involve the plot of the movie.

In other news, it seems that Goldar's appearance in the "Power Rangers" movie has been revealed online.

Goldar was first spotted during a "Power Rangers" movie commercial were they showcased the Megazord and Goldar toylines. Like the Power Rangers and Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks), Goldar's appearance is drastically changed from the TV incarnation as his appearance is that of a winged goo monster with gold coloring, ComicBook reported.

In the "Power Rangers" movie, Goldar will act as the main monster that the rangers will face in the film. His purpose in the film is to obtain the Zeo Crystal as he is the only one who can penetrate the shield that Zordon (Bryan Cranston) created.

Rita Repulsa was also revealed to be the Green Ranger who was once Zordon's ally being the Red Ranger at that time, but was seduced with power. Rita will deliver the Zeo Crystal to her new master Lord Zedd and will weaponize it to rule the galaxy.

The plot of the "Power Rangers" reboot will center on five teenagers who are chosen as earth's defenders but must overcome there issues and work as a team.

The first of these is Jason, the Red Ranger (Dacre Montgomery), who in the reboot was a football legend in his school, until one fateful mistake changed his life. Jason seeks redemption and is struggling to find himself, until he leads an unlikely group of teenagers as superheroes and must rise to the challenge to lead them.

Next is Kimberly, the Pink Ranger (Naomi Scott) is once a popular girl in her school, but has been cast out of the popular friends and is now struggling to find her identity. She has a new "rebel without-a-cause", edgy attitude, but this is a front is to hide her vulnerability.

Billy, the Blue Ranger (R.J. Cyler) is a smart and sweet boy who has hard time making friends due to his lack of social and communication skills. He is constantly being bullied, until he made connections to other four teenagers who gave him a chance know people like never before.

Trini, the Yellow Ranger (Becky G.) is mysterious "new girl" in Angel Groove as her parents constantly move from town to town due their work. She is considered a "lone wolf", self-sufficient and contemplative, but always observant. In truth she longs to find her own group of friends, even tho she does not admit it.

Lastly, Zack, the Black Ranger (Ludi Lin) has a tough and cool exterior filled with confidence and swagger. However, he has deep layers to his personality that makes him feel inferior to others.

The "Power Rangers" movie will be in cinemas on March 24, 2017.
