Visitors Enjoy a Sneak Peek of Harbin's Spectacular Ice and Snow Festival

Some bikini babes building a snowman while avoiding asphyxiation may be exciting and all, but China's main winter event is still a few weeks away--the opening of Harbin's annual Ice and Snow Festival.

While the 33rd edition of the festival doesn't formally get underway until Jan. 4th, 2017, visitors are currently able to check out the always spectacular Harbin Ice and Snow World on a trial basis.

Over the past few weeks, 10,000 workers have been working in the freezing cold to assemble some 330,000 cubic meters of ice and snow into a winter wonderland of mazes, towers and slides.
