Supergirl is one of the heroes in the fighting game 'Injustice 2.'

Supergirl's abilities in the upcoming "Injustice 2" game has been detailed in a brand new gameplay video. The video is released by NetherRealm Studios, the game company behind the development of the game.

According to MobiPicker, the version of Supergirl is the complete opposite of her original versions in terms of appearance. Instead of a short skirt, full sleeve and long hair, the "Injustice 2" version of Supergirl has full pants, a sleeveless top and short hair. However, in terms of abilities, she still has her ice breath, heat vision, and a high-speed teleport attack. The last attack sees her flying off the screen and appearing on the other side with an attack.

Regardless, for players picky with her looks, her costume is customizable just like the others in the game. With this, players are able to add or subtract any piece desired, with the color palette fully interchangeable.
Furthermore, with the use of her abilities, Supergirl is more than capable of holding on her own when fighting with enemies. Her ability kit is versatile and it can be possible for her to be one of the most popular character picks once the game gets released sometime in 2017.

According to Game Rant, Supergirl's powers are remarkably similar to that of her cousin, Superman. However, she does not rely on brute force tactics, as she relies a lot on agility as well as sets of combos that puts considerable pressure to her opponents.

One example of this is her combo, called The Last Daughter of Krypton, which helps in setting up the stage for a longer chain of combo hits. However, Supergirl's versatility lies in the fact that she can also be played like Superman, as she can just simply kick her opponents in the gut or powerbomb them either alone or as a part of a greater combo.

"Injustice 2" is set to be released sometime 2017. Here is the gameplay video for Supergirl.
