"Super Robot Wars V" gets PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita screenshot comparisons revealing few differences. More details of the video game were also revealed.
Bandai Namco has just updated the official website of the upcoming video game with some new screenshots that gave comparisons between the two platforms, which are the PS4 and PS Vita. The two versions are almost identical in visuals, but with only a difference in resolution. The PS4 version is 1080p, while the PS Vita has 960x544.
The game company revealed that it will prohibit screenshots on both PS4 and PS Vita, but with the exception of some scenes only. Even video recording and broadcasting will be deactivated, while share play will be available only in limited of the game.
Bandai Namco gave more details of the video game on another post on its official website. Players will be able to play as original characters and use the 25th anniversary special original robots in several battles. They can choose from several main characters to play like Soji Murakumo and Chitose Kisaragi, or they can just use the default settings and play as one of the game's sub-characters.
Players will start the video game by using the VangRay, a prototype anti-alien mobile weapon developed by the third Special Tactical Lab. The unit will have the best mobility, weapons, and firepower even though it was developed in a hurry. The Grungust and the Huckebein robot from the fourth "Super Robot Wars" original series will also be featured as a special 25th anniversary bonus.
The Beginners Mode will give players some easy challenges with different tasks and scenarios that have predetermined difficulty levels, which will let them earn bonus Money and Tactical points upon clearing the map. They can change the difficulty modes at the Intermission and doing so will not affect the storyline.
"Super Robot Wars V" will have three bonuses when it launches on the release day. Aside from the two original robots, those who will purchase it before the release day will get the Special Starter Pack and original PS4 and PS Vita original themes of the video game.
