‘Aquaman’: Momoa Rules Vast Seas As ‘Aquaman’ In 2018

The Ruler of Atlantis surfs in the DC Cinematic Universe since Warner Bros has chosen to officially declare the big screen film, which is set to premiere in 2018.  

"Aquaman" is a superhero film, which is based on a character of the same name from the DC comics. The upcoming film will have Jason Momoa to portray the role of Arthur Curry, also known as Aquaman.

Momoa is also known for his television roles as Ronon Dex on the military science fiction series Stargate: Atlantis", Khal Drogo in the HBO fantasy television series "Game of Thrones". The actor also had an appearance in the sword and sorcery film "Conan the Barbarian". In addition, he also had the role as director, writer, producer, and actor in his film "Road to Paloma", which was released last July 11, 2014.

Momoa's character will be first seen in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" in 2016 and in "The Justice League Part One" in 2017.

A trailer of 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of justice' has been leaked online, as per Fashion & Style. The source reads as:

"For those who didn't see the 'BvS' trailer last night, YOU MISSED A LOT. The new 'BvS traler' was a rehash of the last one with Batman narrating the entire time however the new one had some snippets of Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg. Only Aquaman was in costume though, Ezra Miller and Cyborg are just wearing civilian clothes."

As per Comic Central City, the leaked trailer features Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Ezra Miller's The Flash, and Ray Fisher's Cyborg.

"While Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on May 6, 2016, the upcoming "Aquaman" movie is set to be distributed by Warner Bros and DC Entertainment and is to premiere in theaters and cinemas on July 27, 2018.
