"Dance Moms" alum Chloe Lukasiak is being dubbed as a one-hit wonder. In 2016, the former reality TV star starred in the original Lifetime movie, "Center Stage: On Pointe." However, the teenager has not appeared in the any other projects for the big screen after that.
Lukasiak and her mom Christi departed from "Dance Moms" at the end of Season 4. Prior to their departure, Lukasiak and Christi were involved in several controversies. Her coach, Abby Lee Miller, have been comparing her with Maddie Ziegler. Miller also said so many times that Lukasiak is only second to Ziegler.
Christi also had a feud with Miller, and there were some reports saying that Lukasiak was photographed with another dance troupe and was axed not by her coach, but by the producers of "Dance Moms." A few months later, Lukasiak joined the said team.
Midway through Season 6, Ziegler and her younger sister Mackenzie also left "Dance Moms." The 14-year-old immediately booked a series of projects for the big screen. She has already completed filming her scenes as Christina in Colin Trevorrow's "The Book of Henry." Ziegler also lent her voice for the movie, "Ballerina." The "Chandelier" dancer will also appear in Sia's movie, "Sister."
Meanwhile, even though Lukasiak has only starred in one movie, she has some projects up her sleeve. Last year, she also completed the filming for the movie, "Cowgirl's Story," where she will be playing the role of Savannah. She will also star in the movie "Loophole" where she will play the role of Lexi Smith.
Other than her upcoming movies, Lukasiak is busy spending time with her family and friends. She has also been going back and forth to New York City, Pittsburgh and Los Angeles for her professional engagements.
As for Ziegler, the professional dancer just wrapped up a series of performances with Sia for the singer's "Nostalgic for the Present Tour."
