Jennette McCurdy finally clears the air of rumors that she and Ariana Grand has a feud when they were still part of the Nickelodeon show "Sam & Cat".

McCurdy was interviewed by E! News about her upcoming Netflix drama entitled "Between" and she shared that there is no truth to the juicy feud rumors that have been going on since the show they both starred in was axed.

McCurdy shares, "I just feel that, you know Ariana and I were and are extremely close and very like-minded in a lot of different ways and then, sorta as the show dissolved, everybody wanted to find some sort of hidden meaning in our relationship."

She adds that they bonded like they were real sister and that they both know each other so well and McCurdy thinks that it was unfortunate that things between them got misinterpreted by their fans and the public. She shared that they worked long hours together for so many years that their friendship cannot be broken or penetrated by the rumors.

She did not deny however that there were ups and downs because they were constantly together for many hours in a day. She adds, "I can't imagine a world where you would not come out extreme friends. I mean I have bonds with both Miranda Cosgrove and Ariana that are impenetrable."

As for her new Netflix show, the premiere date is set on May 21 and it's a survivalist thriller about a pregnant teen that is in a town beset by a plague that kills people who are over 21 years old. The drama is produced by Don Carmody in association with Elevation Pictures Corp.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, McCurdy will play the role of Wiley Day and will act alongside Jesse Carere as Adam, her best friend. They are to find the cure of the plague in order to be free from the quarantine and live the life they are supposed to have.
