"The Bachelor" Season 19 (2015) winner was declared during a dramatic season finale on March 10, 2015. The show came to an end with a proposal and engagement as Chris Soules, the leading man, chose Whitney Bischoff over Becca Tilley.

For the final week, the two finalists and Chris Soules went back to the bachelor's hometown-Iowa. Before the 33-year-old farmer made his final decision, he introduced Becca and Whitney to his family and took them on their final dates.

During the final rose ceremony at the barn, Chris Soules bid goodbye to Becca after telling her he doesn't think she is ready to make such a big move. Soules, then, proposed Whitney with a big rock designed by the Neil Lane himself. Whitney accepted the proposal and the couple got engaged.

Chris Soules spoke to US Weekly about making the decision in his final weeks. The bachelor said that he spent "lots of sleepless nights" while he was still trying to figure who he wants.

It seems Chris Soules had lots of factors to consider before making the big decision. "Whitney lives in Chicago, that's convenient for me, that's a place that I am close to that I visit, my sisters live near there. Becca lives in San Diego, and not really sure if she's willing to move from there. Whitney has said that she's willing to move," the reality star further explained. According to the bachelor, Becca has never fallen in love. As for Whitney, she reassured him that he loves him and wishes to relocate. She is even ready to be married and have children with him, notes the bachelor in his interview with the abovementioned publication.

But what do the fans and other celebs think? Chris Soules' decision evoked massive reaction from fans. At the same time, "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" alums Juan Pablo Galvis, Andi Dorfman, Marcus Grodd and others took to Twitter to congratulate the new couple.
