"Girl Meets World" is rumored to be cancelled after Season 3, but even before the official announcement from Disney Channel, lead star Rowan Blanchard seems to have already moved on from the sitcom.

Just recently, the actress has been focusing on other things such being an activist at a very young age. Blanchard has also been speaking about feminism on her social media accounts. In an interview with Teen Vogue, the young performer shared an incident when an 11-year-old girl approached her to say thank for talking about feminism.

"And I thought, it is so awesome hearing that word from someone that age. It was not, like, a censored, hush-hush term," she said.

Blanchard also recounted the time when Disney released the movie, "The Princess and the Frog." The lead character, Tiana, was the first African-American Disney princess. The "Girl Meets World" actress realized that as a white person, she oftentimes feel privileged and does not think about inequality because she knows she looks like all of the Disney princesses who have fair skin. She only realized how unfair life is for the people of color when Tiana was introduced.

Meanwhile, Blanchard also explained why she feels very strongly about her being an activist. "To me, activism is a need to know, a need to explain, and a need to help. At first I was very scared of the term. I thought, am I actually doing enough? Then I realized that oftentimes existing is activism in itself," she explained.

In other news, "Girl Meets World" Season 3 has only three episodes left before it says goodbye to fans. As of late, it is still unclear whether or not this goodbye will be permanent. "Boy Meets World" alum Rider Strong already claimed that the Disney Channel sitcom has wrapped up for good, but the writers of the show clarified that nothing has been finalized yet.

"Girl Meets World" Season 3 will return to Disney Channel on Jan. 6 at 8: 30 p.m. EST with a one hour episode, titled "World Meets Girl."
