Natalie Portman played as Jane Foster in the first two films of "Thor."

Actress Natalie Portman has been with the first two installments of the movie "Thor" and she already stated in the past that she will no longer be part of the third film dubbed as "Thor: Ragnarok." However, reports suggest that the actress could be reconsidering in reprising her role as Jane Foster in "Ragnarok."

The Oscar award-winner sat down with Deadline and talked about her portrayal in her most recent project as Jackie Kennedy in "Jackie." When asked about the possibility of doing another "Thor" movie, Portman replied that she will be figuring it out one day.  She further explained that working with the said project is an incredible experience for her and a different one as well. The actress went on saying that such genre requires a huge chunk of time acting on a blue screen and she needs to be more imaginative than ever in playing her part.

Meanwhile, reports are also getting rife that "Doctor Strange" played by Benedict Cumberbatch will be tapped to be part of "Thor: Ragnarok." The outline of the upcoming film has been allegedly posted on Disney's fan club website stating that "Thor," together with "Hulk" and Doctor Strange" will be battling it out against "intergalactic baddies" in which both previous and new adversaries will be teamed up, Independent reported.

Moreover, it was noted that "Ragnarok" will remain true to its comic book adaptation and will feature the planet Sakaar. For the uninitiated, the said planet is where Hulk was sucked in and became a gladiator that would also be an instigator to revolt against its tyrant - the Red King.

"Ragnarok" will also showcase top brass actors such as Jeff Goldblum who will play as the Grandmaster, Idris Elba as Heimdall the gatekeeper, and Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin. The film has an initial playdate of Nov. 3, 2017.
