Kyuhyun, Yesung and Ryeowook of Super Junior-K.R.Y. perform on stage during their concert on December 6, 2015 in Taipei, Taiwan.

Super Junior's Kyuhyun talked about his military enlistment at a press conference on Jan. 4. In an interview, the popular Korean boy group member revealed that he may enter the military this year.

Kyuhyun made the revelation at the press conference for "New Journey to the West 3," where he said, "I'm the last member left in the Super Junior to enlist. I will probably be saying goodbye to all of you sometime this year."  He also added that he's not pressured by the thought of leaving his career for the time being to enter the military, since he knows it is a given that everyone has to go.

He also went on to reveal that he had been talking to Kim Gura about it for the last two years, so there is no pressure in his part in case he leaves this year. He said that while people may think that he is concerned about it, he is not really that worried.

On the Oct. 31, 2016 installment of "Entertainment Relay," Kyuhyun also shared his military enlistment plans and confirmed that he was planning to go this 2017. That time, his fellow Super Junior members Donghae and Eunhyuk just went off to serve in the military.

Kyuhyun said during the interview that he still had at least around one year to prepare for his military service, All Kpop reported. Considering Kyuhyun's military enlistment plans, "New Journey to the West 3" might be one of his last TV shows before he temporarily says goodbye to his fans. The show is set to premiere on Jan.8.

Meanwhile, fans of Super Junior are in for a treat, as the boy group plans to release a new album sometime this 2017. The boy group will release the album on the second half of the year, according to Soompi.

Super Junior members Sungmin, Shindong, Kangin, Yesung, Kim Heechul and Leeteuk have already completed their military duties, while Eunhyuk and Donghae will return this July. Choi Siwon will also be discharged this August to join the upcoming project. On the other hand, Ryeowook, who will be discharged next year, will not be able to participate in the album.
