[UPDATE] Veteran Bollywood and Hollywood actor Om Puri passes away after a heart attack: Celebs offer condolences on Twitter

Actor Om Puri has passed away at the age of 66 following a heart attack on Friday.

Filmmaker Ashok Pandit has confirmed to The Indian Express about Puri's death.

Apart from being a noted actor in Bollywood, Puri is known for his excellent acting in various Hollywood and British movies namely "The Hundred-Foot Journey," "Charlie Wilson's War," "The Ghost and the Darkness," "City of Joy," "Gandhi," "The Reluctant Fundamentalist," and "Wolf."

Celebs have offered their condolences to Om Puri on Twitter and many are on their way to reach his residence including Pandit.
