Vincent D'Onofrio talking about his role as Kingpin in "Daredevil."

Vincent D'Onofrio's role as the feared crime lord Wilson Fisk a.k.a. the "Kingpin" was quite fleeting in the sophomore season of "Daredevil." Hence, fans are musing if they will ever see his character face off "Hornhead" once again in the show's next season.

It may well seem that fans will be expecting Kingpin's return in "Daredevil's" next season as he already hinted it at NBC' press event for their new show, "Emerald City." D'Onofrio told Collider that Kingpin will be back in "Daredevil's" third season, though he is not quite sure when will it be. He added that he wants to do more Marvel stuff and went on saying that he is into it big time. The actor also commended the Marvel Cinematic Universe for their creativity in making films, TV, and web series. Moreover, he mentioned that he is constantly communicating with director James Gunn via Twitter as he blurted out that he is a fan of "Guardians of the Galaxy."

The show itself, on the other hand, has been ordered for another season. However, there was no definite date given as to when will it air considering that Marvel has numerous projects down the pipeline for the streaming service Netflix, Cinema Blend noted.

Binge watchers are pretty much aware by now that Netflix is all set to roll out this 2017 one of Marvel's superhero collective - "The Defenders" in which the man without fear is a part of. Hence, if speculations are anything to go by, it is believed that "Daredevils's" next season could see the light of day around March or April of 2018.
