As the divorce saga between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt continues, the latter has been recently reported to be hiding the truth from public. The "Benjamin Button" star is reportedly terrified that people will find out what he is really like.

According to the papers filed by Jolie's lawyer Laura Wasser last Jan. 3, Pitt is more likely terrified the truth will come out, stating, "Likely terrified that the public will learn the truth, Respondent is now casting blame at Petitioner for the consequences of his own actions," The Wrap reported.

In addition, Wasser also accused the "Allied" star of not following the child custody agreement both him and Jolie agreed to previously. She also cited Pitt engaged in a desperate way to hide the truth which could possibly terrorize his reputation.

The same publication also stated Wasser accused Pitt's lawyers for filing papers that were used to accuse the "Maleficent" star. Jolie's lawyer also claimed the other party used this as their strategy to redirect Pitt's participation in the issue that has affected their children.

Pitt was previously accused of striking Maddox, their eldest son, during a plane trip. The "Inglorious Bastards" star was soon vindicated from the charges after the Department of Children and Family services cleared him from the accusation last November.

Aside from Wasser, the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" actress also aired her side regarding the issue. In the recent court documents filed by Jolie, she stated her estranged husband has been insistent on sealing the divorce documents, Entertainment Tonight reported.

While she understands the move could be for the best interest of their children, her lawyer has consistently slammed Pitt for engaging in such actions. Pitt's lawyer, Lance Spiegel, on the other hand filed documents which supported the actor's request to seal the divorce documents filed last Dec. 21.

The 53-year old actor reasoned out that her estranged wife has been disregarding the privacy rights of their children for the sake of her benefit. He also claimed Jolie exposed their children by revealing the name of their children's therapists.
