CyberConnect2's sixth and could be the final installment in the "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm" series - "Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will be getting a new content dubbed "Road to Boruto." The new downloadable content is said to showcase the next generation of fighters in the "Naruto" mythos with the inclusion of well-known characters of the ninja franchise.
The inbound DLC will remain true to the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" anime film that was released August of 2015. Moreover, it will showcase the offsprings of once rivals Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke namely Boruto and Sarada respectively, Just Push Start reported. The two youngsters will be joined by Mitsuki who is an artificial human created by Orochimaru. Furthermore, the latest game segment will also pitch in the events in the "Boruto" movie alongside some nifty moves for the new roster of characters.
Meanwhile, a teaser trailer was also rolled out recently announcing the looming expansion. The video was quite prolonged as it showcased the entirety of the DLC. The clip also featured a scene where the adult Naruto was vaporized while his son Boruto watches in shock.
The "Road to Boruto" expansion will be dished out on Feb. 2 in Japan and Feb. 3 in both Europe and the United States and will be offered at $20, Siliconera stated. Publisher Bandai Namco is also prepping up to release a physical DLC pack complete with the original game, the forthcoming game expansion, and a season pass. However, it is yet to be known about the price of such pack. In addition, the game segment will be made available to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC platforms.
