Capt. Salazar (Javier Bardem) is the new antagonist in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales."

On Jan. 5, Disney finally shelled out the synopsis for "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,"  and it looks like Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) will be in for a whole lot of trouble. After a teaser was released last October, information was still scarce back then on what will the story plot be for Disney's fifth installment for "Pirates of the Caribbean" - until now.

The new film to be named "Dead Men Tell No Tales," will have Jack set sail once again in the unforgiving seas, though his luck seemed to have dried up. To make things even worse, his new antagonist - Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) escaped from the so-called "Devil Triangle" alongside his ghostly crew who aim to kill all the pirates at sea most especially Jack. In order to escape such unfortunate fate, Jack will have to acquire the mythical "Trident of Poseidon" in which he will be needing the aid of unusual allies namely Henry (Brenton Thwaites) and an astronomer Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), Comicbook reported.

The outline of the film also suggests that Jack will not be sailing with his beloved Black Pearl. Instead, he will be getting a smaller and ramshackled ship named the "Dying Gull." This may well seem to indicate that the trickster of the Seven Seas will be all out of luck from the get-go, though it has to be seen by the time the film is released.

"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will be released on May 26, during the Memorial Day weekend where it will go up against Paramount Picture's "Baywatch" that will feature Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Zac Efron, MovieWeb stated. Furthermore, both featurettes will be in between two equally anticipated films namely "Alien: Covenant" on May 19 and "Wonder Woman" the will be released on June 2.
