According to multiple sources, the film was shown in front of a group of test audiences, and their reactions were quite surprising. Instead of being drawn to the onscreen couple's sex scenes, majority of them ended up laughing because it lacked authenticity.

With this, the producers of "Fifty Shades Darker" have become extremely concerned over the possibility that the film will not be appealing to fans as much as "Fifty Shades of Grey." The first installment grossed over $500 million in total and became the sixth highest grossing R-rated movie of all time.

However, it is also quite impossible for Dornan and Johnson's scenes to be reshot because there is absolutely no time to do so. If reshooting is indeed necessary, this can only be done for their scenes in "Fifty Shades Freed."

Meanwhile, Dornan and Johnson are now gearing up for their upcoming press tour for "Fifty Shades Darker." According to Cosmopolitan, it is mandatory that the actors prepare for their interviews. In 2014, the co-stars sat down for interviews with various publications and it could not be denied how awkward they looked onscreen.

The New York magazine also noted that Dornan and Johnson could not answer sensitive questions with ease because they were uncomfortable to talk about their sex scenes.

Luckily, the co-stars have already spent plenty of time with each other and have also gotten to know each other very well. This means that they are more comfortable with each other now and could tease each other nonstop. As a result, Dornan and Johnson may now openly talk about their sex scenes, and their chemistry has definitely improved.

In other news, "Fifty Shades Darker" also stars Kim Basinger as Elena Lincoln, Eric Johnson as Jack Hyde, Bella Heathcote as Leila Williams, Rita Ora as Mia Grey and more.

"Fifty Shades Darker" will be released on Feb. 10.
