While speaking with the Irish Mirror, the 34-year-old dad of two admitted that Christian has a lot of questionable choices in his life. More specifically, Dornan does not think that he will ever have a red room built in his home so this is one of their biggest differences.

Meanwhile, the actor was also asked to differentiate "Fifty Shades Darker" from "Fifty Shades of Grey," and how Christian has changed and evolved in the two movies. According to him, Christian has become more relaxed and open in the sequel. He is also more open to compromising especially when it comes to his girlfriend, Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson).

However, this does not change the fact that Christian is still very stubborn. There are some scenes in the film wherein he wants what he wants done immediately.

In other news, Dornan also opened up about the sex scenes in the upcoming movie. The actor confirmed that there will be more sex scenes especially in the shower in "Fifty Shades Darker." "Doing a sex scene is always strange, but especially if you start it clothed in the shower," he joked.

Towards the end of the interview, Dornan shared some advices he could give to his character. "Loosen up a bit! Relax! Get some guy friends. He is obviously been through some horrific things in his youth that have colored who he is today, but I think he needs to let his hair down a little bit," he said.

"Fifty Shades Darker" also stars Kim Basinger, Bella Heathcote, Rita Ora, Eric Johnson, Luke Grimes and more.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated for release in theaters in the United States starting Feb. 10.
