'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds' actor Park Bo Gum jokes about being a KBS employee; Why Song Joong Ki cried during the 2016 KBS Drama Awards

Park Bo Gum who starred in the 2016 popular and multi-awarded Korean drama,  "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" recently charmed his fans with a witty reply in an interview. The KBS2 television show "Entertainment Weekly" on Jan. 7, Saturday, featured backstage interviews during the 2016 KBS Drama Awards on Dec. 31, 2016.

Park was asked about his KBS loyalties during the interview since he has many hosting duties for the network. He hosted the 2016 KBS Song Festival with Seolhyun of AOA and the 2016 KBS Drama Awards.

"I'm waiting for my employee ID card," Nate quoted the 23-year-old talented actor telling interviewers at the backstage. That was his reply when asked if he is a KBS employee considering his many gigs in the Korean drama channel.

For his acting in "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds," Park received Male Top Excellence Award, Netizen Award and Best Couple Award with Kim Yoo Jung. The 2016 hit drama was the big winner during the 2016 KBS Drama Awards along with the massive hit "Descendants of the Sun" aired early in 2016.

Aside from the awards received by Park, "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" also garnered Female Excellence Award for Mid-length Drama for Kim Yoo Jung, Best New Actor Award for Jinyoung, Best Supporting Actor Award for Lee Joon Hyuk, as well as Best Young Actor Award for child actors Jung Yoon Suk and Heo Jung Eun.

The "Entertainment Weekly" episode also featured "Descendants of the Sun" lead male actor Song Joong Ki giving an explanation for his tears during the 2016 KBS Drama Awards. The actor won the Grand Award for his acting in the hit drama and could not hold back his tears during his acceptance speech.

Song explained during the backstage interview his tears just came flowing while he recalled the filming of the drama. Once again, he wanted to thank the crew and staff of the drama, Soompi quoted Song telling the interviewers backstage. He was likewise spotted in the audience crying when Park thanked him for his brotherly help and support in an emotional acceptance speech during the awards night.
