Rob Liefeld is Fabian Nicieza's co-creator of Marvel's 'Deadpool.'

After Marvel Studios put up their "cinematic universe," other production outfits followed including Marvel's longtime comic book rival - DC. In line with this, Rob Liefeld's Extreme Studios comics, alongside its deluge of characters, will be jumping on the same bandwagon as it will be backed up by an Academy award-winning screenwriter.

In an interview with Cinema BlendLiefeld talked about his newly announced cinematic universe. He stated that it all began with a casual meeting with Akiva Goldsman who is tapped by Paramount Pictures to devise the blueprint for future "Transformers" film installments. The once thought to be a normal meet-up turned out to be a deal that would springboard his plethora of Extreme characters to such renown.

Before their conversation could go any further, Goldsman handed over what he described as a black leather bound tome that has a title that reads "The Transformers Bible." The decorated screenwriter went on saying to him that there were only eight of those that were ever produced and are currently in the hands of people responsible for the "Transformers" film franchise.

Goldsman further explained to him that he is now working with Hasbro in putting up the Hasbro Cinematic Universe and added that Goldsman wanted to do the same with his studio. To his surprise, Liefeld simply responded with, "Uh, Okay, Wow!"

In addition, Goldsman suggested him to meet filmmaker Graham King to discuss to discuss to him other details of the plan. By the time he met with King, the award-winning producer told him that the financial aspect of potential projects will be covered by China-based Fundamental Films not to mention that he will be working with top brass producers.

Meanwhile, a new photo from the upcoming "Transformers: The Last Knight" has been teased showing one of its protagonists, Cade Yeager, seemingly doing some sort of investigation in a cave and tt could be Cybertronian in nature, according to USA Today. The trailer that went out in December 2016 suggests that the film will feature the alien robot's involvement in the course of human history as it hinted different timelines.

Most fans believe that Unicron will be included in the mix as one of the film's antagonist alongside the Decepticon leader Megatron. Here is a clip about Liefeld's new cinematic universe and the recently teased photo from "The Last Knight:"
