Bandai Namco has shared some details on the upcoming "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" downloadable content called the Shrine of the Abyss, which is still under consideration. A mobile game of the popular Japanese anime will be coming soon to the western shores.

The game company is considering the upcoming three chapters-long DLC expansion for the already released video game, Games Talk reported. It will include several new contents like infinite dungeons, more field content, and many more. There is still no definite promise that all of the aspects will be included in the upcoming content.

The game company is trying their best to implement all of the contents that they are considering for the fans. They plan to release the DLC not long after the Third Sacrament update, which is scheduled to be released sometime in February.

For the field content, there are several contents that are under consideration like Enigma Order, which are parts that are scattered all over the game's world. Players will have to collect these parts to get the equipment. They can also hunt for mimics that are buried in the ground, and they can find them with a map item that shoots beams of light.

The Invisibility Product content lets players learn a special skill to get ranged sonar, which lets them reveal and defeat an invisible enemy. The Abyss content lets players learn an ability that lights up a pitch dark dungeon. For an additional EX sword skill, the Trials to Acquire Evolve Skills will allow them to evolve Sword Skills and gain additional operations.

The upcoming content for the video game will add the ability to assign roles to a player's team. They can assign them to become a tank to guard all party members, a healer to support them, or a buffer to be able to special lock an enemy.

There is a plan to add new high-difficulty elements into the video game like the Overlord Class. It will feature enemies that are extremely hard to defeat. Myth Classes are enemies that are almost impossible to defeat, but if players learn a new element they can win against them.

The content will have special strengthening equipment like Unique Character-Specific Legendary Weapons. There will be an addition of Legendary Armor that can evolve through upgrades. There are also additional Aura Weapons, Armor with Special Effects, and the ability to fuse armor with secret stones.

In other "Sword Art Online" related news, "Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag" will be coming to the West soon. This will be a free mobile multiplayer action RPG, which lets players enjoy the experience of the anime story and the all-new in-game storyline, according to the official website of the mobile game. This was already launched in Japan for a while now and a lot of players like the mechanics of the game.
