Park Bo Gum Resumes Asia Fan Meets Beginning with Indonesia on Jan. 13

“Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” actor Park Bo Gum is currently in Jakarta to hold a fan meet with his followers in Indonesia. The event is scheduled on Friday, Jan. 13, at the Kasablanka Hall, Kota Kasablanka.

The Jakarta Post reported that the 23-year-old actor arrived on Wednesday in Indonesia at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten. Fans welcomed Park Bo Gum who hosted the 2016 KBS Drama Award on Dec. 31 when he also won the Male Top Excellence Award for his role as Lee Young in “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds.”

Third Fan Meet

Wearing a casual white shirt, he was photographed smiling and waving at fans upon his arrival at the airport. The Indonesia fan meet is his third, although the first two were held in December at Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia.

After the Jakarta fan meet, Park Bo Gum would hold his next fan meet in Taiwan on Jan. 22, followed by Tokyo on Feb. 4, Bangkok on Feb. 11 and Singapore on Feb. 18. He is also scheduled to hold a fan meet in mainland China and other Asian cities, but the schedule for these events would be announced later by Blossom Entertainment, his agency.

Following Song Joong-ki’s Footsteps

Given the meteoric rise of Park Bo Gum toward the end of 2016 similar to what happened to his bromance partner, “Descendants of the Sun” actor Song Joong-ki, Inquisitr observed that 2017 would be the year of the actor. It cited new developments in his career as proof.

First is Park Bo Gum being declared by Korea, a profiling website, winner of the Special Korea Brand Award. Second is the offer for the actor a role in “Seobok,” an upcoming movie, according to Blossom Entertainment. However, Park Bo Gum, who also recently endorsed Ghana Chocolate, has not confirmed yet if he would accept the film.
