Middling club UD Las Palmas (6-6-6, 24 points) will look to find more consistency in their game as they face lowly squad Deportivo de La Coruna (4-8-6, 18 points) on Friday, Jan. 20 at their home field of Gran Canaria Stadium to begin round 19 competitions of the 2016-2017 La Liga season.

The game starts at 2:45 p.m. ET. It can be viewed live online thru FuboTV.

Las Palmas has been mercurial as of late with two wins, two draws, and two losses in their last six matches. The team is currently in the 10th spot of the 20-team Spanish top flight table, five points below the second and final Europa League qualifying berth next season presently occupied by sixth-running team Real Sociedad.

Los Amarillos were crushed by defending champions Barcelona, 0-5, in their most recent fixture last Saturday on the road at the Nou Camp, as per BBC Sport.

Luis Suárez netted a double in the 14th and 57th minutes while Lionel Messi, Arda Turan, and Aleix Vidal scored one goal each in the 52nd, 59th, and 80th minutes respectively.

It was the second shutout loss in the last three games for head coach Quique Setién's side as the teams seemed to be having issues in their offensive plays.

Meanwhile, Deportivo La Coruna was able to hold contending squad Villarreal to a 0-0 draw at their home ground of Riazor Stadium also last Saturday to pull off a third consecutive unbeaten performance, SB Nation reported.

Head coach Gaizka Garitano's squad has been on the rise lately with four undefeated games in their last five outings. They are now settled in the 15th spot in the overall standings, only six points above the bottom three relegation area and six points behind Las Palmas.

It would be a close match but the Yellows are favored to prevail.
