The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) has been spotted on a benchmarking site. It has revealed some of its key specs.
An alleged prototype of Galaxy J7 (2017) with model number SM-J727P has been spotted on GeekBench 4. The listing mentions msm8953 motherboard for the device which indicates it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. It includes an Adreno 506 graphics.
The GeekBench 4 benchmarks suggest that it has an octa-core processor that works at 2.21 GHz. Its memory is mentioned as 1,794 MB which shows that it will be featuring 2 GB of RAM. The listing also reveals that Galaxy J7 (2017) runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The first rumors of Galaxy J7 (2017) came up in October 2016 when it appeared on Zauba, an Indian import-export tracking site. In December 2016, a leaked video had surfaced to reveal the appearance of the device along with its specifications.
Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is expected to house a 5.5-inch display that offers a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Just as Samsung had released Galaxy J7 (2016) in Snapdragon and Exynos chipset variants, its successor is also expected to arrive in these two CPU variants. Speculations also indicate that a 3 GB RAM model will be also introduced for Galaxy J7 (2017).
For shooting photos, it is expected to come with a 13-megapixel rear snapper and a front-facing camera of 5-megapixel. It is expected to measure 151.3 x 76.2 x 8 mm and is pegged to include a 3,000 mAh battery.
