‘Dance Moms' Season 7 star Kendall Vertes finally releases second single after two years

"Dance Moms" Season 7 star Kendall Vertes will soon release a second single after waiting for her next big break for almost two years.

On her Instagram account, the 14-year-old ALDC dancer announced that her song, "Where Would I Be Without You," will be out in three weeks. In 2015, Vertes released "Wear 'Em Out" with the help of her then-manager, Abby Lee Miller.

However, an episode from "Dance Moms" Season 6 showed Vertes and her mom, Jill, making a tough decision regarding the former's music career. The mom and daughter tandem decided to no longer hire Miller as Vertes' manager.

After sending Miller an email that they will no longer be working with her, the coach seemingly got upset and did not give Vertes any solos for the next couple of weeks. Miller, Vertes and Jill patched their issues thereafter, and everyone is now back to working like usual.

Meanwhile, Vertes spoked with NKD magazine about her latest single. She also dished on her first track, and why it took her some time to release a second song. "My first single was more of trial and error. I moved producers and my next single is called, 'Where Would I Be Without You."

Talking about her single, Vertes shared that it is about her closest friends, as well as the struggles she has been through in her life. "It is about my best friends and what I have been through; basically my life on the show," she said.

In other news, Vertes also opened up about her future plans and said that she would be more than willing to go on tour, but not necessarily for her songs. "If I were to have an album or go on tour, I definitely would dance because that is what I'm known for... That is how it all started. But I think it would be cool if I would be known for something else like, 'That girl from 'Dance Moms!' and 'That girl from the movie!" she said.

Vertes currently stars in "Dance Moms" Season 7 and competes with the ALDC's Junior Elite team.
