WWE rumors: Triple H to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 33? Brock Lesnar returns

| Jan 17, 2017 05:59 PM EST

The feud between Seth Rollins and Triple H continues to intensify, as the "Road to WrestleMania" gets underway at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

Brock Lesnar is not expected to make a comeback in MMA, so he has now turned his attention to a return to professional wrestling instead. WWE officials can confirm that Lesnar will make his return on the Jan. 16 edition of "Monday Night Raw."

Lesnar will be hoping to hit the gound running once he makes his comeback, especially considering that his last match was an upset defeat at the hands of Goldberg. Apparently, his return will be used in the buildup towards the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Jan. 29.

The upcoming installment of "Raw" will also touch on other subjects such as the rivalries regarding the Cruiserweight and Raw Women's championship titles. New entrants to the Royal Rumble may also be announced at the show.

Emma, who the WWE rebranded has Emmalina, could be back in action in this edition of "Raw." It is not yet known whether she will play a role in the storyline for the Raw women's championship. However, promotional material has been hyping up her debut for quite some time now so wrestling fans should take this with a grain of salt, according to Bleacher Report.

Aside from Emmalina, Triple H may also be making an appearance at the show, which will happen live at Little Rock, Arkansas. This means that a confrontation between him and Seth Rollins could very well happen. A match between the two of them has been touted to take place at WrestleMania 33 although this has not yet been confirmed by the WWE, Forbes reported.

After impressing in his recent seven fight winning streak, Neville will face Rich Swann for the Intercontinental title at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Neville's recent heel turn has definitely made him grow, as he is slowly but surely becoming a pivotal figure in the WWE.

Due to the fact that Roman Reigns was unable to dethrone Chris Jericho and take his United States championship, he may now challenge for Kevin Owens' WWE Universal championship instead. This also means that a new challenger can be put in place for the United States championship.
