Disney Actor Windell Middlebrooks Found Dead; ‘Suite Life’ Actor's Family Mum About Cause Of Death

Disney actor Windell D. Middlebrooks died in the morning of March 9, Monday, his agent confirmed to CNN. He was 36. The cause of death has yet to be revealed.


Middlebrooks’ family also took to Facebook to confirm the actor’s death. The post reads, “
The Middlebrooks, with sorrowed hearts, announce the passing of a young, black star.”

According to the family’s statement, it was Middlebrooks’ biggest wish to have “his final scene not be lived on social media.”

The family also said the family members will finalize plans first before releasing further details.

Aside from his famous commercial role as the straight-talking Miller High Life delivery man, Middlebrooks played the role Kirby Morris in “
The Suite Life on Deck,” the spin-off of the Disney Channel series “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” starring Dylan and Cole Sprouse as twin brothers Zack and Cody Martin and Brenda Song as hotel heiress London Tipton.

Fans of
The Suite Life on Deck” have taken to Twitter and Facebook to pay tribute to the actor.

In 2014, Middlebrooks played Chance in the TV movie “The Mason Twins” and Agent Blaylock in the TV series “Mighty Med.”

Most recently, Middlebrooks starred in the comedy film “Road Hard,” which was written and directed by Adam Carolla and Kevin Hench. The film also starred Larry Clarke, Jonathan Klein, Jim O’Heir, Jay Mohr, Sarah Halford, Natalie Jordan Messing, Cynthy Wu, David Koechner and David Alan Grier, among others.

Born and raised in Fort Worth and a Trimble Tech alumni, Middlebrooks was reportedly found unconscious at his California home and was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, CBS has learned.
