People's Choice Awards 2017 winners: Ellen DeGeneres, Britney Spears, Blake Lively

The People's Choice Awards 2017 was a big night for Ellen DeGeneres, Disney's "Finding Dory," superhero film "Deadpool" and singer Britney Spears. Winning three awards during the night for a lifetime total of 20, DeGeneres is now the most awarded artist in the awards' 47-year history.

With DeGeneres, Spears won Favorite Comedic collaboration  for "Mall Mischief." The "Slumber Party" singer also garnered three awards in the music category, namely Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Social Media Celebrity and Favorite Pop Artist. 

"Finding Dory" was awarded as Favorite Movie and Favorite Family Movie. On the other hand, "Deadpool" was Favorite Action Movie while its lead star Ryan Reynolds was Favorite Movie Actor.

Jennifer Lawrence was honored as Favorite Movie Actress while Robert Downey Jr. and Margot Robbie were Favorite Action Movie Actor and Favorite Action Movie Actress, respectively. "Bad Moms" was the Favorite Comedic Movie while Kevin Hart and Melissa McCarthy were Favorite Comedic Movie Actor and Favorite Comedic Movie Actress, respectively.

In the TV category, Starz television series "Outlander" earned the Favorite Show award while "The Big Bang Theory"and "Grey's Anatomy" were Favorite Network Comedy and Favorite Network Drama, respectively. "Bates Motel" received the Favorite Cable Drama award while "Baby Daddy" was named Favorite Cable Comedy.

Reynolds' wife Blake Lively won the award for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress for "Shallows" beating Amy Adam, Emily Blunt, Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep. Lively jested that the award expanded her ego and would have her husband and daughters lay down their jackets for her to walk across.

"I'm going to tell my daughter she's not allowed to vomit on me anymore," Lively told E! News. "I'm going to start wearing diapers and make her change mine, just because I'm that incredible now."

The People's Choice Awards 2017 nominees in 64 categories were announced in November 2016 with over 125 million votes cast, according to the award-giving body's website"The Great Indoors" star Joel McHale hosted the ceremony, which aired on CBS and was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Jan. 18, Wednesday.
