Xiaomi Mi Mix EVO seen in Geekbench; Device to come with Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB RAM

Xiaomi Mi Mix Evo has been spotted on GeekBench with Snapdragon 835 SoC and 4 GB of RAM.

Xiaomi is currently working its new smartphone iteration for the Mi Mix series after the latest leak of its upcoming device, Xiaomi Mix EVO, has emerged on the benchmarking website Geekbench.

The new smartphone, dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Mix EVO, has now been revealed online in the popular benchmark website Geekbench. With the specs shown in the listing, the smartphone could be released in the future as a high-end device as it carries a powerful Snapdragon 835 chipset, according to NDTV.

More information on the mentioned listing shows the device's score in the single-core test and multi-core test. In the former test, the Mix EVO device marks 1918 points, while it posts a staggering 5689 points in the multi-core test.

Besides the Qualcomm's latest processor, the listing reveals more in the Mix EVO's internals. The phone will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.9 GHz and will be coupled with a 4GB of RAM, Indian Express has learned. Furthermore, its software will run an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.

Since the Xiaomi Mi Mix EVO carries the 'Mix' nomenclature, the device could be offered as a high-end variant of the bezel-less Xiaomi Mi Mix. However, no additional details on the phone's specs and features are revealed yet.

While Xiaomi is still testing the waters on the said device, consumers could recall the Xiaomi Mi Mix's specs as a possible benchmark for the upcoming device. The Mi Mix device sports a 6.4-inch edgeless display with full ceramic body. It boasts a 91.3 per cent screen-to-body ratio, while its internals are fueled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage onboard.

Aside from the 128GB internal memory, the device offers a 6GB RAM, with 256GB internal storage version as well. Its battery capacity holds a 4,400 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

Xiaomi Mi Mix brands its revolutionary 8-mergapixel front camera that sits at the bottom of the phone, which will rotate on its own when a user wants to take selfies. Its rear camera sports a 16MP PDAF rear camera, with f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. In addition, the device runs the MIUI 8. It is only available in China in black and white colour variants.

Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, a GPS/ A-GPS, NFC with Mi Pay support, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and a USB Type-C port.
