Several rumors are making rounds regarding "Community" star Donald Glover's character in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as he is hinted to play Hobbie Brown a.k.a. The Prowler in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A brief scene in "Spider-Man: Homecoming's" trailer spotted Glover's character with an unknown person holding the alien weapon possible created by The Tinkerer (Michael Chernus) or him. This led to the speculation that Glover's character will be a criminal in the film.

Hobbie Brown in the comics is a teenage genius and takes the costumed identity of The Prowler. Originally Hobbie used The Prowler persona to commit several crimes and had encounters with Spider-Man, but had a change of heart and has offered help from Spidey in making New York a safer place against crime.

Other speculated characters include Robbie Robertson, J. Jonah Jameson's co-editor at the Daily Bugle, Horizon's Lab employee Max Modell and Ultimate Spider-Man Miles Morales, who has been consistent for Glover ever since he announced that he would like to play Spider-Man in future films, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

In other news, it looks like Peter Parker will not be the only one tinkering with the special features of his Spider-Man suit as his bestfriend from school Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) will be helping him in "Spider-Man: Homecoming".

Ned Leeds is the first person from Peter's (Holland) school who discovered that he is Spider-Man by accident. Holland stated that Ned is a gamer in the film and will likely help Peter unlock the many features in Spidey's suit, Heroic Hollywood reported.

Previous reports revealed that Holland will be reprising his role as Spider-Man in "Avengers: Infinity War" after Twitter username TomHollandItaly tweeted a translated text from his interview with Vogue Magazine Italy.

Holland stated that it was Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans who convinced Marvel to have him in "Avengers: Infinity War" as the producers wanted to be sure that Holland was the right man before he is entrust with three films for the rest of the four years.

It is unknown yet what role will Spider-Man play in "Avengers: Infinity War" as he joins several Marvel heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in their fight against Thanos (Josh Brolin) from the original Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy to the debuting Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).

Holland Holland confirmed in an interview that he will appear in six Marvel films in the MCU, three will be "Spider-Man" and the rest are separate appearance possibly indicating that Peter will be part the Avengers.
