"Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo" star Lee Sung Kyung, 26, is one of the most beautiful actresses in South Korea. However, the model-turned-actress unabashedly admitted she feels more comfortable in the company of men more than women.
In a recent interview with the local media, Lee revealed why she prefers to have male friends than female. For some reason, the actress said she has just been more comfortable around the opposite gender.
"I can be a little freer and less careful with guys," Korean newsoutlet Sports Chosun quoted Lee as saying. "Conversation is a lot more comfortable and there's a back-and-forth quality that I think fits me better."
On the other side, since they are such close friends, Lee's male friends do not consider her as a woman at all. She then stressed that being close to someone of the opposite sex can be completely asexual.
The "Cheese in the Trap" actress revealed she had a lot of guy friends since her high school days. Even if there were girls that could not really fit in with the guys, Lee would joke around with both sides so they would be comfortable.
It came after Lee's close friendship with Lee Jong Suk, 27, became controversial to some fans. The actress said she has been friends with the "W - Two Worlds" actor for 10 years already, stating they have all the dirt on each other from the past. She added, "I also am close with Choi Tae Joon; we used to live in the same neighborhood."
Meanwhile, fashion magazine Elle Korea recently released Lee's recent pictorial for its February issue. Displaying a natural aura, the "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo" actress sported a chunky sweater and a ripped jeans.
In the accompanying interview with the magazine, as cited by Soompi, Lee candidly talked about what she likes in a guy. To her, guys seemed the most attractive when they were honest with their feelings.
