LG Electronics has already started releasing its next-gen flagship smartphones this 2017 with the latest launch of LG X300 and LG Aristo. Now, the South Korean tech giant hinted another entry-level smartphone, dubbed as X230, after it silently passes Bluetooth certification.

The LG X230 has been recently received its Bluetooth certification from Bluetooth Interest Group (SIG), hinting a possible release on the tech market. According to Softpedia News, the listing at the communication authority reveals various models of the LG X230 getting the Bluetooth certification, which should indicate for a global release of the entry-level phone.

Fortunately, the X230 smartphone was spotted on Geekbench previously noting a possible MediaTek MT6737M processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM, Phone Arena reported. The low-end internal chassis will be supported with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

Although LG has recently named its devices that will receive the latest Android Nougat update, X230 will not be receiving an update to Nougat any time soon, as the company did not confirm any possible update.

As it carries the "X" nomenclature, the LG X230 could be referred as an even lower version of the X300, although the certification did not reveal any specs and features of the phone.

Without the major specs and features being revealed on the X230 smartphone, tech enthusiasts could refer to LG's X300 smartphone for possible future specifications of the upcoming low-end device.

Specs-wise, the X300 features a 5-inch LCD display with HD resolution. Powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, the smartphone packs a 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via a microSD. As per its optics department, the X300 sports a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front camera. In its software front runs an Android 7.0 Nougat firmware.

Earlier this month, LG also announced its low-end market LG Aristo with 1.5 GB of RAM. Outside, the smartphone features a 5-inch HD display, a 5MP front camera with LED flash and a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. Its internal chassis include a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor and 16GB of internal storage onboard. It houses a 2,410mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
