The Chinese smartphone vendor ZTE has unveiled quite good smartphones at the start of 2017 during the recently-concluded Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Some of the highlights of its showcase are the ZTE Blade V8 Pro and the upcoming Project CSX, named Hawkeye. Now, the company is seemingly working its third device after it was spotted on a telecommunication body from China.

According to VR-Zone, a new ZTE smartphone, carrying the model number BA602, visits a Chinese telecommunication regulatory authority TENAA, which revealed its upcoming specs and features. Specs-wise, the ZTE smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch HD display with 720 X 1280 screen resolution, resulting to 267 pixels per inch pixel density.

As of now, the listing does not reveal enough information on the smartphone's exact mobile chipset, besides that ZTE will be fueling the smartphone with a quad-core chipset clocked at 1.25GHz.

The smartphone will offer multiple configurations depending on the RAM and internal storage. The listing furthered that the device may come in three variants: the cheapest variant will pack a 1GB RAM with 8GB storage, while its mid-range option will come with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Its high-end variant, on the other hand, will feature a 3GB RAM alongside a 32GB of storage.

On its optics department, ZTE smartphone is listed to bring a primary rear camera of 8-megapixel shooter, while its front camera will sport a 2-megapixel snapper. The device will house a 3000mAh battery. On the software front, the ZTE smartphone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, with ZTE's custom Android UI layer running on top.

At launch, the ZTE BA602 device will be offered in five color variants, namely Quicksand Gold, Galaxy Silver, Phantom Grey, Quiet Blue, and Black color options.

On other news, prior to the upcoming release of ZTE BA602, the company first released its Blade V8 Pro smartphone in the U.S. markets, according to Phone Arena. The smartphone opted for a metal frame casing with an extra feature for better grip control. Its display features a 5.5-inch screen size with an LCD panel and resolution of 1920 x 1080.

Its internal chassis, on the other hand, is powered by a Snapdragon 625 and 3GB of RAM. Moving on to the camera department, the device brings two 13-megapixel sensors at rear panel, and houses a 3,140 mAh with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology.
