Following the highly anticipated premiere, "Scandal" Season 6 is set to air episode 2. The upcoming segment is titled "Hardball" and it will feature flashbacks revealing what happened during the campaign for presidential elections. "Scandal" Season 6 episode 2 will be a revealing one. According to the synopsis for "Hardball" on its official website, the upcoming segment will feature several flashbacks depicting the events that lead to the shocking results of the election.
Finally, the viewers will find out Olivia's role in Mellie's campaign. Episode 2 will reportedly reveal how far Olivia was willing to make her candidate Mellie Grant win. Whether Mellie won or not remains to be seen. The results will be revealed in the "Scandal" Season 6 episode 1 airing on Jan. 26.
Elsewhere, former President Fitzgerald Grant and Abby will be seen dealing with an unprecedented national crisis. Details about it remain unknown. It possibly takes place before the results of the presidential election. As for Gladiators, they will spring into action as they seek answers to their questions.
At Television Critics Association, "Scandal" creator Shonda Rhimes revealed what to expect from Season 6. "[This season is] really about where [the characters] come to after all this time," Rhimes told reporters as quoted by TV Guide. "It's very different from any other season we've had."
A promo video for "Scandal" Season 6 episode 2 is yet to be released. It is expected to be out after the television broadcast of episode 1 "Survival of the Fittest" when it airs on Jan. 26. Stay tuned, it will be updated here.
