The AMD Ryzen logo is revealed during AMD New Horizon event on Dec. 13, 2016.

AMD Ryzen CPU and AMD Vega GPU combo have been highly awaited for its improved specs and speculated reasonable price. The market dominance of Intel and Nvidia are to be challenged by AMD's expected release of their next generation products.

Some gamers and experts are convinced that AMD will have a chance to be on top this year provided that Ryzen and Vega's hype will be realized. With the highly talked about demonstration of the said devices, AMD's growth is poised to explode this year.

One of the reasons why AMD has been foreseen to outsale and outclass its competition is because of the market's excitement for AMD Ryzen. The said CPU has been expected by many to outperform Intel's high-end processors, especially that it did better than Intel's 6900K 3.2-3.7Ghz with turbo, according to Smarter Analyst.

Moreover, the same website also cited AMD Vega as a contender against Nvidia's high-end GPUs, especially with its addition of HBM2 memory. The said device is seen as a threat against Nvidia's GTX 1080 that was released in May 2016.

With the previous demonstration and presentation of both devices, AMD showcased a promising upgrade option for gamers and enthusiasts. Ryzen's 8-core, 16-thread chip that has demonstrated itself to be 10 percent faster than that of Intel's Core i7-6900K, will try to lure consumers along with Vega GPU.

However, there is still no assurance of AMD's anticipated market dominance, for Intel and Nvidia are yet to release their respective flagships this year. It has been rumored that Intel will launch its Kaby Lake X chip in August at Gamescom 2017, according to PC Advisor. On the other hand, Nvidia is expected to release its upgrade GTX 1080Ti before May ths year.

The anticipated launching from competitors will be faced by Ryzen and Vega head-on. However, the company is confident enough to be successful this year because of their products improved performance and reasonable price. Both the Ryzen CPU and Vega GPU are expected to start within a $500 price point.
