'Battlefield 1' is a World War I first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts.

After releasing a teaser for the upcoming "Battlefield 1" DLC "They Shall Not Pass," EA DICE has made good with its promise. The reveal gave an outline to the new maps, weapons, and more for the DLC.

According to the "Battlefield 1" game's official website, the "They Shall Not Pass" expansion features four maps in total. With the French-inspired add-on set in the Battle of Verdun, EA DICE revealed that the areas featured in the content include Verdun Heights, Fort Vaux, Soissons, and Rupture.

In addition to new maps, it has been confirmed that the "They Shall Not Pass" expansion will feature the French Army as well as the addition of the new mode called Frontlines. This mode is a mixture of Conquest and Rush game modes.

The official description of the Frontlines game mode is that both of the team should fight for one flag at a time, and once it is captured the action will move on to the next point. Once the enemy's HQ control point is taken the game will then turn into a Rush-style mode where telegraph posts must be captured or defended.

As for vehicles, the new DLC will feature the Char 2C tank, inspired by an actual tank used during the Great War. It is a behemoth-class transport vehicle that sort of functions like the armored train vehicle. Aside from that, a tank called St. Chamond will be released with the DLC as well.

An Elite class called the Trench Raider will be featured-a melee-focused class that uses a club and an impressive grenade arsenal. To top it off, the new DLC will see a new stationary field gun, the Siege Howitzer.

One of the most important details left out by the company is the DLC's release specific date, according to Game RantAs of date, it is only known that it will be out sometime in March, and that the Premium Pass will cover it.

"Battlefield 1" is now available for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Here is the game's trailer:
