The title for "Lucifer" Season 2, episode 17 has just been released by the writers of the hit FOX series.
On their official Twitter account, the writers revealed that the episode 17 will be called, "Sympathy for the Goddess." Even though no other details have been unveiled, fans are speculating that the installment has something to do with Lucifer Morningstar's (Tom Ellis) mom, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer).
In episode 16, titled "God Johnson," Lucifer's dad is expected to make an appearance in the show. Timothy Omundson was cast to play the role of God Johnson. It is possible that Lucifer's dad will assume the life of a man named Johnson who is living on Earth.
If God Johnson will arrive in episode 16 and have a feud with his wife Charlotte, it is possible that the latter will seek sympathy from her sons and friends in episode 17. Charlotte also happens to love herself fully so it is possible that she sees herself as a Goddess.
Unfortunately, information on episode 17 will only be released sometime in May because "Lucifer" Season 2 will go on a long hiatus after next Monday night's episode.
In the winter finale, "A Good Day to Die," Lucifer and Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) will figure out a way to help Chloe Decker (Lauren German) with her illness. Photos from the episode showed the latter confined at the hospital. Her daughter, Trixie (Scarlett Estevez) and ex-husband, Dan (Kevin Alejandro) are there to visit him.
The previous episode of "Lucifer" Season 2 showed Chloe's nose bleeding profusely. By the looks of it, her illness has something to do with the fact that Lucifer already knows the truth about her. On the contrary, Chloe's illness may be a curse from God or Charlotte.
"Lucifer" Season 2, episode 13 will air on FOX on Jan. 31 at 9 p.m. EST.
