Arsenal has continued to challenge current league leaders Chelsea for the top spot of the Premier League table this season. The team is on a five-game unbeaten run and is eight points below the Blues in the standings with 16 rounds left in the season.

The Gunners are coming off a dramatic 10-man, 98th-minute 2-1 win over newly-promoted side Burnley also at the Emirates Stadium on Jan. 22 for their second straight victory, as per The Guardian.

Alexis Sanchez buried the winning goal eight minutes into injury time to snatch the win and three points for head coach Arsene Wenger's side after Andre Gray equalized the match five minutes earlier.

It was a goalless first half for both sides as Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi broke the game's deadlock in the 59th minute. Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka was then sent off in the 65th for a lunging foul on Steven Defour.

Meanwhile, Watford has continued to be winless in their last seven outings, dropping them to the 14th spot of the league table, eight points above the bottom three relegation area.

The Hornets had settled to a 2-2 with Bournemouth in their most recent English top-flight fixture held on Jan. 21 at the Vitality Stadium, Goal reported.

Belgian defender Christian Kabasele netted the opening goal on the road in the 24th minute to give head coach Walter Mazzarri's squad the 1-0 lead at the break.

The hosts fought back in the second half, equalizing the game three minutes after the restart with a goal by Joshua King.

Watford captain Troy Deeney gave the lead back to his side in the 64th but it was ultimately leveled again by Benik Afobe in the 82nd.
