The latest details and spoilers for "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will feature a possible Super Bowl trailer and the Sinister Six appearing in "Spider-Man" sequels.
It seems that Marvel Studios will likely feature two trailers from their movies namely "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in this year's Super Bowl 51 event. Other film trailers include " Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man Tell No Tales", "Baywatch", "Fifty Shades Darker" , "Fast and Furious 8", "The Mummy", "Transformers: The Last Night" and possibly a new "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League" movie trailers, Deadline reported.
The first trailer of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" was released last year which featured Tom Holland's Peter Parker/Spider-Man as he struggles to be a hero and maintaining a balance with his school life. The trailer also featured Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Adrian Toomes/ The Vulture (Michael Keaton), Aunt May Parker (Marissa Tomei) and many more.
Meanwhile, there are rumors making rounds regarding the formation of the Sinister Six in the "Spider-Man" sequels in the Marvel CInematic Universe.
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will not only feature Vulture as the main villain, but also characters like Herman Schultz/Shocker (Bokeem Woodbine) and Phineas Mason/The Tinkerer (Michael Chernus) and will likely form a team in the possible Spidey sequels, Melty reported.
Tinkerer will be responsible for Vultures high-tech suit as he is depicted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a former employee of Stark Industries but was fired by Tont Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) from unknown reasons. It is speculated that Vulture and Shocker's weapons are based from the Chitauri tech that was scattered throughout New York during their invasion in the first "Avengers" film.
Sony previously had plans for a "Sinister Six" film as part of the "The Amazing Spider-Man" franchise along with "Venom". It was a direct competition for Warner Bros. produced film "Suicide Squad", which is also a super villain focused movie.
"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" film credits already teased the formation of the Sinister Six members such as Green Goblin, Kraven the Hunter, Black Cat, Doctor Octopus, Rhino and Vulture. Unfortunately, Sony scrapped their plans for "Sinister Six" since they have announced that Spider-Man will be moving to the Marvel Studios.
Previous reports revealed that Holland's Spider-Man will be unlocking the secrets of his suit with the help of his bestfriend Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon). Ned Leeds is the first person from Peter's (Holland) school who discovered that he is Spider-Man by accident.
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be release on July 7.
