Manchester United has been winless in three of their last four matches as the team remained in the sixth spot of the English top flight table. They are now only one point behind fifth-place team Liverpool, who holds the Europa League qualifying berth for next season.

In their most recent fixture last Sunday, the Red Devils have finally won after three straight drawn matches following a crushing 3-0 victory over defending champions Leicester City on the road at the King Power Stadium, as per The Sun.

Algerian winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored the opening goal in the contest with a magical move inside the box.

Zlatan Ibrahimović then scored his 15th Premier League goal two minutes later with a close-range side-footer off a pass by Antonio Valencia to make it a 2-0 count for head coach Jose Mourinho's squad at the half.

Spanish winger Juan Mata then sealed the win four minutes after the restart with a give-and-go play with Mkhitaryan.

Meanwhile, Watford won two straight games after being winless in their previous four to settle in the 10th spot of the 20-team standings.

The Hornets are boasting a new attack line with the arrivals of M'Baye Niang and Mauro Zarate. Niang, Zarate, and team captain Troy Deeney started up front for head coach Walter Mazzarri in a 4-3-3 formation during their 2-1 win over a 10-man Burnley side last Saturday at the Vicarage Road, Daily Mail Online reported.

After Burnley midfielder Jeff Hendrick was sent off in the sixth minute, Deeney broke the deadlock four minutes later to give Watford the early lead. Niang then doubled the lead in the first half injury time to take full control of the game.

The Clarets tried to make a match out of it with a goal by Ashley Barnes in the 78th, but it was the closest the visitors could come.
